Leonardo Fabbri is a Monaco-based advisor, investor and professor. He is the founder of AI Laboratory Monaco, an independent platform dedicated to AI research, investment analysis, education and high-level events in the Principality.
Leonardo began his career at Goldman Sachs, completing the firm’s graduate training programme in New York before joining the Sales and Trading floor in London as a Securities Analyst, where he became an FCA Approved Person after passing the required regulatory examinations. Following several years in finance, he decided to deepen his understanding of artificial intelligence and human cognition, completing a master’s degree in cognitive neuroscience at Pompeu Fabra University under the supervision of Professor Gustavo Deco.
Today, Leonardo advises private investors and family offices on asset allocation and investment opportunities arising from the development of artificial intelligence. His work focuses on the technologies and infrastructure supporting the AI economy, including semiconductors, cloud computing, data centres, energy, cybersecurity, robotics and emerging software platforms.
He is also an Adjunct Professor of Finance at the International University of Monaco, where he teaches asset allocation and investment strategy. Through AI Laboratory Monaco, he publishes research and investment commentary, organises conferences bringing together leading academics, technologists, investors and policymakers, and contributes to the development of Monaco’s AI ecosystem.
Leonardo is also the Chapter Lead of AI Salon Monaco and a member of the board of the Dante Alighieri Committee of Monaco. His broader mission is to help investors and institutions understand how artificial intelligence is reshaping financial markets, businesses, society and the global balance of power.
