Stéphanie Lopez is a data scientist and principal investigator for the LungScreenAI project at Université Côte d’Azur. Since 2018, she has led the development of an AI platform focused on early lung cancer screening via chest CT scans, in collaboration with CHU de Nice and Therapixel. Her work has spanned the full lifecycle of the project, from proof-of-concept and funding acquisition to data compliance, clinical integration, and prospective trials approved by the National Ethics Committee.
