We are excited to announce that Mr. Paolo Bufalini, an emerging visual artist based in Bologna, will be one of the keynote speakers at the Monaco Artificial Intelligence Conference 2024. In the last year Bufalini has been engaged in a long-term project that applies Generative AI, through custom model training, text-to-image and image-to-image workflows, to a dataset made-up of the entirety of the photographic albums of his family, covering a time span from ‘50s to early 2000s. The project, promoted by Sineglossa, was funded by the Per Chi Crea program by SIAE and will be on display in November at Museo di Palazzo Ducale (Genova).

About Mr. Paolo Bufalini
Bufalini (Rome, 1994) is a visual artist based in Bologna. His research is characterized by a cross-media approach and a pronounced formal diversity. He finds in the investigation of the relationships between psychic, temporal and material depths its primary motif. His work has been exhibited in institutional and independent spaces in Italy and abroad, including: Gubbio Biennale, Palazzo Ducale, Gubbio; Museo di Palazzo Collicola, Spoleto; Marktstudio, Bologna; La Rada, Locarno; Gelateria Sogni di Ghiaccio, Bologna; Eataly Art House, Verona; Civitella Ranieri Foundation, Umbertide (PG); Dolomiti Contemporanee, Castello di Andraz (BL); Fabbri-Schenker projects, London; Localedue, Bologna; MASSIMO, Milan; Raum, Bologna; Neverneverland, Amsterdam.
